WMNI

WMNI was founded by William Mnich, thus the “MNI” in the call letters. In later years, “MNI” stood for “music, News and Indians baseball”. Country-western music was always an important segment of the Central Ohio music scene and for many years WMNI was the primary source for country-western music.
Only one WMNI survey is available in this gallery, but it provides a glimpse of the kind of music being played by WMNI at the time.
